Chainmail & More: Snake and Dual-braid half-round collars

Okay so Chainmail & More do a whole bunch of chainmail stuff, however what attracted me was the sheer sturdyness of how things looked.  They do two principal collars, the thicker and more substantial  Snake Slave Collar, a tightly woven weave of metal (with one edge flattened fractionally to rest against the neck) and also the lighter, and elegant, but still really robust looking Dual braid half round collar, which the example version of comes in an attracted bronze/bright mix of rings.

JSWMetalWorks - Infinity Chainmail Collar

Oh wow, over on Etsy I've just seen an awesome collar.  The Infinity Collar from JSW Metal Works.  Just the sheer closeness of it, the way it hugs the neck with a tight metal weave is quite nice looking.  But what really makes it is the the infinity symbol that rests over the throat, giving two light attachments points and also a really nice looking bit of symbology :)

BDbySM Daily Wear

BDbySM do a whole range of custom made collars, mostly from silver as far as I can tell, what really attracted me to this was the subtle nature of the Affirmation collars, a series of silver rings that can be inscribed with any words you want, its not a robust play collar but a rather classy looking day-wear Collar.

Kohinoor Jewellery

Over on Etsy again Kohinoor Jewellery do a very nice http://www.etsy.com/listing/82375140/sterling-silver-byzantine-inspired-weave">Byzantine weave necklace in sterling silver with a dangling pendant that while intended for purely vanilla applications as far as I can tell could make a very nice day collar.  Due to the denseness of the  weave it gives a good appearance of being solid whilst also being flexible looking, suitable for any top to hook their finger through and give a tug on :)

Elegant Collars

Elegant Collars is a site designed for custom woven chainmail day collars, and some of the stuff there is just fantastically shiny and neat and ordered (okay, its elegant, I can't resist it).  I was initially attracted by seeing the Infinity Collar a series of large O's connected by chainmail bundles, all nicely interlocking, really should be seen to be believed.  Additionally to this they also do designs inspired by mobius strips called the Mobius Chain which is a particularly nice weave.  On the less shiny and neck covering front they also do some neat anklets, I particularly liked their triskelion anklet, which seems subtle, functional and suitable for attaching bells to (I'll admit I have a fondness for jingling).

Custom Metal Collars of Furaffinity

There's a chainmail collar maker operating out of Furaffinity called just simply Custom Metal Collars.  They seem to make all kinds of awesome stuff, from almost dragon like scalesweaves with D-rings and weaves with LED cables strung through them which are really quite awesome :)

MelonLove's Chainmaille

There's an excellent seller of chainmaille collars on Etsy called Melon Love who makes all kinds of weaves of both collars and cuffs, they're happy to make custom stuff in terms of patterns and sizes.  I've obtained a rainbow cuff from them and they gave an excellent and speedy service.  Mostly I was attracted to them because of their awesome Rainbow Collars which the world needs more of.

Last of the catchup, Darby collars, Tanos podcast and SLRNs

Starting with the awesomely interesting, I came across these collars
on FA and was instantly impressed by the strange scale-like properties
of them, something I've not seen before at all:

Torcs, Manillas and collars, oh my!

Firstly remember that collars are not just referred to as collars, if
you're looking for similar items the magic words you will need to
google are things like: Torc (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torc) and
Manillas (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manillas).

And another catchup, silver, leather and shock collars
